PMP Program Description

Everest Innovation is in the midst of creating a series of workshops to prepare individuals to sit for the Project Management Professional (PMP) Examination. These workshops will be mostly WSQ funded with the amount balance paid through your SkillsFuture Credit.

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is the most important industry-recognized certification for project managers. You can find PMPs leading projects in nearly every country. Unlike other certifications that focus on a particular geography or domain, the PMP is truly global. As a PMP, you can work in virtually any industry and in any geographical location.

The objective is to enable all Singaporeans (and Permanent Residents through their companies) to prepare for and to achieve Professional Management Professional International Certification at an affordable cost.

The first 6 workshops are WSQ-funded and provide training on both the underpinning knowledge and performance standards that learners will need to manage projects or participate on project teams.

Upon successful completion of these courses and their related assessments, the following WDA Statements Of Attainment (SOAs) will be issued to learners to signify that the have master the following skills:

• Scope Management
• Time Management
• Cost Management
• Manage Project Stakeholder Relations
• Manage Project Quality
• Manage Project Risk

PMP Exam Prep Workshop

This 7^th workshop is non-WSQ and non-SkillsFuture Credit Funded. It prepares the candidate for the PMP international examination. It is based on the Project Management Institute (PMI) Framework designed by PMI, in the PMBOK Guide.

The Exam Prep workshop covers the remaining modules not covered by the above workshops, namely:

• Project Integration Management
• Project Human Resources Management
• Project Communication Management
• Project Procurement Management
• Professional & Social Responsibility

Mock Exam papers will be given to help candidates prepare for the examination.

Intended Audience:

All professionals (A-level, Diplomas, Degree holders and above) who aspires to be or are currently working as project managers should attend this workshop to prepare for their PMP Exam.

Workshop Duration:

• 7 workshops x 2 days
• Workshops may be conducted on weekdays (for organizations) or Saturdays (for working individuals)
