Workshop Description

This is a fun and dynamic workshop that will equip you with a set of effective tools, techniques and templates on negotiation.

Winning in negotiation is about creating the win-win climate, exploring the possibilities and agreeing on the best possible outcomes.

 

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the workshop, the learners should be able to:

  • Plan and prepare alternatives and outcomes for both parties in negotiations to support negotiation objectives.
  • Apply communication and conflict resolution techniques to achieve desired negotiation outcomes.
  • Finalise negotiation and take necessary follow-up actions to close negotiation.
  • Monitor and evaluate negotiation outcomes against objectives in accordance with organisational procedures.

The “It’s a ZOO Out There” Simulation Game: Experience the heat of negotiation as the participants compete to buy and sell animals at the best price to fulfill:

  • Round 1: Customer’s Specific Zoo Objectives
  • Round 2: The Best Zoo in the World.

Intended Audience:

This course is designed for anyone who needs to negotiate as a major part of their job: salesperson, managers, supervisors, team leaders, purchasers.

Workshop Methodology

This highly interactive workshop will be conducted with a good blend of instruction, discussions, case studies and simulation games.  Participants will enjoy the fun yet realistic negotiation practices with their fellow participants during the “It’s a ZOO out there” game.

1) Pricing before WSQ funding

  • Full Fees  = $750 / pax

 

2)     First, you need to determine if your company is an SME or non-SME or a Self Sponsored Individual

SMEs are defined as:

  • Organisations registered or incorporated in Singapore
  • Employment size (at group level) of not more than 200; OR annual sales turnover (at group level) of not more than S$100 million
  • At least 30% local shareholding being held by Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Trainee must be SC or PR
  • Trainee must be bona fide employee, and fully sponsored. Because of this reason, payment cheque must be issued from this sponsoring company (not personal cheque or holding company or sister companies)

3)     If you are SME,

WDA funding:

  1. If you are Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents,  your course fee subsidy is up to 90% of the course fees, capped at $50/hr. For the class (16 hours), this funding works out to be 90% x $750 = $675. Your net fee after funding = $750-$675 = $75
  2. If you are 35 or older, and earning $1900 / month or lesser, you can be under the Workfare Training Support (WTS) Scheme, your course fee subsidy is 95% of course fees = $712.50. Net fee after subsidy is $37.50/pax
  3. Your absentee payroll reimbursement is up to 80% of the basic hourly salary, capped at $7.50/hr, this works out to be $7.50 x 16 = $120

4)     If you are non-SME,

WDA Funding:

  1. If you are a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident, your course fee subsidy is 50% of course fees, capped at $15/hr. For the class (16 hours), this funding works out to be $15 x 16 hrs = $240 /pax.  Your net fee after funding = $750-$240 = $510/pax
  2. If you are 40 years or older, the subsidy is 90% of course fees, capped at $50 / hour for PME level. For the class, this funding works out to be 90% X $750 = $675. Your net fee after funding is $750 – $675 = $75/pax
  3. If you are 35 years or older, and earning $1900 /month or lesser,  your course fee subsidy is 95% of course fees or $712.50. Net fee after subsidy is $750 – $712.50 = $37.50/pax
  4. Your absentee payroll reimbursement is 80% of the basic hourly salary, capped at $4.50/hr, this works out to be $4.50 x 16 = $72/pax

5) In-house Workshop

  1. For 12 to 15 pax, we are able deliver an in-house workshop for you. Everest will provide venue + 2 tea-breaks
  2. For 16 to 25 pax, we shall provide venue + 2 tea-breaks + lunch
  1. Everest is a full fee ATO; customers have to pay the full fee upfront to the provider and submit the training grant application to WDA within the period from 180 days before to 30 days after course start date.  Upon successful completion of the course, company will then submit the claims to WDA no later than 120 days after course end date.

6) If you are an Self Sponsored Individual

Your full workshop fee is $750/pax

WDA Funding:

  1. If you are a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident from 21 years, your course fee subsidy is 50% of course fees, capped at $15/hr. For the class (16 hours), this funding works out to be $15 x 16 hrs = $240 /pax.  Your net fee after funding = $750-$240 = $510/pax
  2. If you are 40 years or older, the subsidy is 90% of course fees, capped at $50 / hour for PME level. For the class, this funding works out to be 90% X $750 = $675. Your net fee after funding is $750 – $675 = $75/pax
  3. If you are 35 years or older, and earning $1900 /month or lesser,  your course fee subsidy is 95% of course fees or $475. Net fee after subsidy is $500-475 = $37.50/pax
